“To me serving others means helping others the way God helps us everyday. He helps us with problems by making us stronger. I try to serve others daily by trying to be like him, encouraging my family and friends.” – Aidin Parsell 5th grader
“To me serving others doesn’t mean to clean after them or cook for them. To me it means to help people even if they can’t repay you. Its serving because even though they may not have something to give you in return you still want to help them out.” – Asia Smith 6th grader.
“Don’t ask kids what they want to be when they grow up but what problems they want to solve. This changes the conversation from who do I want to work for, to what do I need to learn to be able to do that.”
“If I could solve a problem it would be teenage bullying. I believe it leads to most of society issues. I believe it is what causes insecurities, isolation, revenge, and ultimately suicide among young people. I wish I could find a solution so we could all be a family like God intended, with no pain or suffering.” Akiele Nelson 8th grader
